Known as "The Sport of Kings", the excitement, glamour and the sheer thrill of watching your thoroughbred pass the post is nowadays available to much of the public.

There is no more exciting moment than watching your horse win it's first race unless it's the second, third and even Group races.

Unfortunately all too often the experience is ruined for many new enthusiasts by the pitfalls on the path to winner's glory which can best be described as "buyer beware".

In a sport where only around 2% of thoroughbred horses even pay their way the only way to get ahead of the pack is to find a horse selection and/or breeding program which differs from the norm.

In fact we are so confident of our success rate that we are willing to forego the usual fee paid to bloodstock advisers in return for a share in the horse's winnings.

In other words if the horse we select for you does not win any money, we don't make a cent.

In the last few years as a result of a number of very positive articles published in Hong Kong's Racing World magazine, Consultlink Thoroughbreds Bloodstock Services have been contracted by private Asian clients and have therefore not been available to the general public.

However in order to keep fresh we are now once again opening up our client list to a few clients.

Because the program research was done on horses from both the Northern and Southern hemispheres it works well anywhere and inquiries are welcome from all markets.

Our services are designed for the businessman or racing enthusiast who wants to have advice which is independent of the myriad of self-serving, hand-holding, misleading mix of personalities often involved in the purchase of thoroughbreds.

Our research into bloodlines in relation to race performance has resulted in us being able to identify unique patterns which are only present in 13% of catalogued thoroughbreds but are expressed in well over 50% of Black Type winners.

We call this the Inverse Ratio pattern.

While primarily involved in the selection of thoroughbred yearlings ( fees on our policies page ), we also offer a broodmare selection service and a mating selection service.

Fees for these services are dependent on the number of mares clients want us to look at.
