Our policies are simple but not open to negotiation

 

1. We will not work with trainers or bloodstock agents as over the years we have found that these people too often have connections with the vendors and / or preconceived ideas about looks and thoroughbred confirmation.

2. We will work with any reputable veterinarian.

3. We are happy to have our client come along to any thoroughbred yearling sale inspections.

4. We will provide an initial short list of around 30 yearlings from a catalogue and will reduce that if required to 10.

5. Our fees are :

    a. purchase price up to A$100,000  - 10%

    b. purchase price between A$100,001 and A$200,000 - 8.5%

    c. purchase price between A$200,001 and A$400,000 - 7.5%

    d. purchase price between A$400,001 and A$750,000 - 6%

    e. purchase price over A$750,001 - 5%

6. No fee option : The purchaser guarantees to pay Consultlink Pty.Ltd. 10% of any winnings garnered during the horse's racing career and if applicable 2% of any income gained from stallion fees.

 

Thoroughbred broodmare stallion selection:

Rates for analysing a mare's genetic potential and finding suitable stallions for her are as follows:

 

1 mare              A$ 100

2 - 5 mares      A$   80  per mare

6 - 10 mares    A$   70 per mare

11 + mares by negotiation.

 

For Australian residents all fees will incur a 10% GST charge.
